Resting Spider

A spider recorded in the Camden Realm.˚ʚ♡ɞ˚ 

It is said this one fell asleep on a shirt while it was being worn. When it finally left, the imprint remained. Like a small gift, so the wearer would remember her.

This T-shirt is made from a dark burgundy felt fabric with a soft, grounding weight. At its center rests a spider formed from purple fleece, slowly hand-embroidered directly into the garment.

The spider is held in place using a loose couching technique with cream wool and thread. The stitching is intentionally relaxed, allowing the fibers to rise and gather around the form.

The shirt is fully lined for comfort and structure, and finished with parmenture at the neckline, hem, and sleeves for durability and a clean interior.

This piece is one of a kind. Made slowly, as a single object within the Camden Realm.˚ʚ♡ɞ˚
